Practical Program Evaluation for Youth Development Organizations

As an evaluation consultant, I help nonprofits, foundations, and youth-serving organizations design and use program evaluations that generate actionable insights. Together, we strengthen programs, support staff, and improve outcomes for young people and communities.

I approach research and program evaluation as collaborative processes that support learning and improvement.

My goal is to help organizations understand what’s working, what’s not, and where to go next. Through practical guidance, partnership, and data-informed tools, I support teams in making decisions that strengthen programs and youth outcomes. Based in Minnesota, I work with nonprofits and youth-serving organizations across the Twin Cities and nationwide.

How I Help

  • Research Partnerships: Collaborate on applied research that answers your most important questions.

  • Learning & Capacity Building: Provide tools, training, and support to help teams use data with confidence. Explore the Free Logic Model Toolkit for an example.

About

I’ve always been drawn to the questions behind the work: What’s really helping? What are we learning? What should we do differently?

That curiosity led me to a career in applied research and program evaluation, working with nonprofits, schools, and foundations focused on youth development, education, and community impact.

I bring over a decade of experience designing and leading evaluations, from data collection to analysis to reporting. I love digging into data, but even more, I love helping teams make meaning from it and decide what comes next.

I see research and evaluation as tools for learning and possibility, not just measurement. And I’m always glad to meet others who see it that way too.
